Well I now officialy have a 7 year old and a 1 year old. Where has the time gone? My baby grew up, what seems to have been overnight. She had a great birthday yesterday, and we had our usual Pizza Hut night out with our dear friends the Starr's joining us. She got to open her gifts, and I think was more excited about a baby doll her RyRy got her that talks than anything else. Although now she also has a big girl chair that I put together this morning that she is pretty excited to sit in. I think that she feels importnant!
Kaitlynn is going to have her party on the 3rd of April, with all our family and close friends. We have decided that she needs no more presents though. So since her daddy is about to deploy to join his new unit, we are having everyone bring things for the soldiers. That way it helps out our troops and daddy can meet new people in his unit while handing out things to people.
This weekend the kiddo's are going to stay at Grammy and Pappa's. They are very excited. Mommy and daddy are not sure what they are going to do for a whole weekend to themselves! =) We dont have many more weekends left before Rob leaves, so we are taking advantage of them now while we can.

Ok so I know it has been over a year since I last wrote on this thing. I will try and be better at this, now that I remember my password! Gosh what a blond moment. The problem is that every thing that is on the computer has to have a user name and password and as much as I try to make them all the same, it doesn't seem to happen that way. So I end up forgetting lots of user names and passwords to sites. URGGGG!
Well so lots has happened in this last year. March 23rd Kaitlynn will be 1 already. It is hard to believe that my lil baby is already so grown up. She acts like she is a toddler already with her fits (boy am I in for it). We are planning her party now, it is going to be a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed party, as that is what she loves to watch every morning. Rob and I think that she is going to be a dancer too as she moves her body to any kind of music.
Ryan is doing well in the 1st grade and likes his new teacher. He has gotten to play out in the snow a few times, so that has made his day. We have not gotten to go sledding as of yet, but I am sure that NY is not done with snow yet for the season, I would be surprised if it was! Ryan is a very good big brother, and loves his sister.
We are all settled in to our house on post in Fort Drum NY. Big change from being at Benning for the past 6 years. I miss my friends and job greatly. I have a friend up here that I talk to on a daily basis and thank goodness she is up here, or I would go crazy.
We are getting ready for Rob to leave to Iraq. I of course can't post the exact date on here for opsec reasons, but he only has a few weeks left here before he goes to join his unit that is already over there. The kids are going to have a hard time I am sure. Kaitlynn is such a daddy's girl and Ryan has already dealt with daddy being gone for a year and he had a hard time then. I will just try to find things for them to do. At least we have family that is very close by and hopefully people come to visit us. At least it will not be a whole year this time around, so that is a very big plus. =)
Well I think that I got it most of the way caught up. I will be better I promise to blog, hey if nothing else at least twice this year instead of once! lol

NY Trip
Well we just got back from NY. It was COLD!!! It snowed to say the least. We were busy every day that we were there. The first day that we got there we ate dinner and unpacked the truck that was packed very full of Mark (my brothers things). he moved back to NY after living down here for over a year. Friday we ran some errands around town and then had a birthday party that night for my god-daughter who turned two. Then went home and my sister-in-law and family was there as my baby shower was going to be the next day, so they drove up from PA for that. Saturday was my baby shower that my best friend Missi put on for me, and it was very nice. It snowed like crazy that day, and some people did not come to the shower due to the weather. Then we went back to the house and ended up with pizza that night and the girls were crazy and went out that night and went to the mall! Sunday we went to church and then had Mark's girlfriends family over afterwards for lunch. They are a very nice family, and hopefully some day we will be related to them! :) Monday we hung out with Missi and Kamryn and the kids went snow sledding. We of course ended the day with going to one of the local places to eat some yummy food. We left Tuesday from NY and went to PA to visit with Rob's family for the rest of Tuesday and Wednesday before coming home Wednesday night and driving straight through for the 15 hours and getting home on Thursday morning at 0930. Rob and I both had to go back to work on Friday. I luckly have Monday off :)

This darn blogging thing
Wow, it has taken me a few days to figure out how to get some kind of cute back ground on here and I am still not satisfied. Of course there are some people who have some way cute blog pages... hint hint I need some help!
Christmas is over!! Thank goodness. It went well. It was a quiet day as it was just the three of us and we tried to go out to dinner, that was not a sucess (finding a place to eat was not easy, then when we did, note to eveyone DO NOT GO TO DENNYS! it was a horrible experience as we waited over an hour for our food and watched others that came in after us get their food after us.) We then went to the movies to go and see Marley and me. Way cute movie, but was sad at the end :(.
We are getting ready to go on a trip to NY on Thursday. I can't wait as I have not been there since June and Rob has not been there in about 2 years. I am ready for some Northern food. Not that southern food is bad, but there are just some places that you miss when you move away from home. I am dreading the 15 hour drive home!!!

First Post
Ok so I have no idea what I am doing, but here goes nothing. I figured that I would create this to keep everyone up to date with things that are going on with Ryan and Kaitlynn (once she gets here) That will be here before we know it!
Ryan started his Christmas vacation and is on it until the 6th of January. He will still go to School Age Services durring this time, as they are doing lots of fun things each day, so that will keep him busy through out the whole vaction time.
Kaitlynn is doing well and when we went to the Dr's on Thursday he said that she is right on for weight and measurment wise, so that is a good thing, since at the last ultrasound she was underweight. Ryan got to go with us to this appointment and he was so excited to get to see his sister that was in his mommy's tummy. He of course was full of questions.
